The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certificate is issued by an independent non-governmental organization to certify that a forestry company meets the environmental, social and economic standards of the FSC. To obtain an FSC certificate, a company must demonstrate compliance with FSC's management and operational standards through a certification process.

FSC offers several types of certification, including single-site certification, group certification and supply chain certification. For companies, Single Site Certification is the most commonly used, where the following criteria need to be met.
